Cemeteries

In Uppingham, there exist a number of cemeteries serving various purposes. Located to the rear of the church and adjacent to South View are two 'closed' cemeteries, overseen and maintained by Rutland County Council. Additionally, situated across from South View lies the London Road Cemetery, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Uppingham Town Council.

A recent inclusion to this roster is the new cemetery situated at the A47 terminus of Leicester Road. This designated area serves as the primary site for new burials or cremations within the vicinity.

The current burial fees charged by Uppingham Town Council are shown below. (The fees we are currently charging remain the same as in 2019/20, until further notice.)
