Uppingham Town Council Grant Aid

Each financial year the Town Council has a budget which is awarded to community organisations in the town and the wider County.

Below are outlined the rules and guidelines that must be adhered to, including a maximum allocation limit of 20% of £10,000, equating to £2,000, for any single organization within a 12-month period.

To proceed with the application process, interested parties are required to review the provided guidance document, complete the accompanying forms, and compile additional supportive documentation for Council consideration.

Grants will be disbursed during the June and November Full Council meetings, with corresponding application deadlines as listed below. However, organisations in need of emergency funding are encouraged to initiate contact with the Town Clerk an 01572 822681, where allowances may be made while both Council and potential applicants transition to these new procedures.

Furthermore, Council reserves the right to outline specific project outcomes and may request progress updates on financially supported initiatives. Once the designated budget of £10,000 has been exhausted, no further applications will be accepted. Please note that the financial year spans from April 1st to March 31st.
